Leland Harold Dahlgren, 65, of Clarion, died Saturday, August 30th. Mass of Christian Burial was held Tuesday, September 2nd at St. John’s Catholic Church in Clarion. Fr. David Beckman was Celebrant. Burial was held in St. John’s Catholic Cemetery, Clarion.

Leland Harold Dahlgren was born September 10, 1937 in Clarion, the son of Harold and Mildred (Mosher) Dahlgren. He was raised and educated in Clarion, graduating from Clarion High School in 1955. On May 27, 1957, he was united in marriage to Margery Murphy at St. John’s Catholic Church in Clarion. To this union three children were born, James, Lori and Anne. Lee was employed by the Clarion-Goldfield School system for over 30 years as a custodian. After he retired, he continued to drive school bus. He was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church in Clarion.

Lee is survived by his wife, Margery of Clarion; three children, James and wife, Rita of Williamsburg; Lori Eldridge and husband, Bill of Spokane, Washington; Anne Peters and husband, Mark of Estherville; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one sister, Yvonne Hansen of Wichita, Kansas; three brothers, Lyle of Algona, Gary of Fort Dodge, and Lonney of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Darl.
