Forrest Allan Bisbey, 55, of Boone, died Wednesday, January 22, 2003. Memorial services were held Wednesday, January 29th at the Clarion Church of Christ, Clarion. Pastor Tim Platt officiated at the 1 p.m. service. Interment was in Evergreen Cemetery, Clarion. Willim Funeral Home of Clarion was in charge of arrangements.

Forrest Allan Bisbey was born February 8, 1947 in Clarion, the son of Allan and LaVonne Cox Bisbey. He was raised and educated in Clarion, graduating from Clarion High School in 1965. After high school he attended Ellsworth Community College for two years. In 1969, Forrest joined the Boone Police Department and continued to work there until his retirement in February of 2001. He then worked part time for the Boone County Sheriff’s Department.

Forrest is survived by his father, Allan of Clarion; one sister, Elaine Bisbey of Vancouver, British Columbia; one brother, Brian Bisbey and wife, Renee of Beloit, Wisconsin; and many friends and fellow officers of the Boone Police Department. He was preceded in death by his mother, LaVonne.
