Elizabeth Ann (Betty) Telford died Sunday, April 15, 2001. Elizabeth Ann Morgan was born August 25, 1911, in Des Moines. She grew up in Clarion and graduated from Clarion High School in 1929. She and George Telford were married November 8, 1929. Three children were born to this union. She retired in 1974 after 23 years with Iowa Public Service and subsequently made her home in California. Betty was preceded in death by her husband, George and one daughter, Margaret O’Kane.

She is survived by one son, Edward and wife, Irene of Spring Valley, California, one daughter, Sheila Banwell of Flint, Michigan; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
