Lois Geerlings, 72, died Monday, April 10, 2006 at the University of Iowa Hospital at Iowa City. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday at the Foster Funeral and Cremation Center in Webster City, with Pastor Dale Schoening officiating. Burial will be in the Glenwood Cemetery at Goldfield, Iowa. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, and prior to services on Thursday at the funeral home. Lois Alice Peterson, daughter of George and Gertrude Welch Peterson, was born on April 18, 1933 in Webster City, Iowa. She received her education from the Goldfield Community Schools. On October 16, 1950, she married Gerald Binder. They were later divorced. On November 8, 1959, Lois married Everett R. Goodrich in Webster City. They later divorced. On May 5, 1985, she married Egon Geerlings. Mr. Geerlings later died. Mrs. Geerlings main vocation was a homemaker. She is survived by her children, Michael Wayne Binder of Oklahoma City, OK; Karen Marie Binder Barton and husband, Larry of Des Moines, IA; Sandra Linda Binder Annett and husband Frank of Cambridge, IA; David Gerald Binder of Des Moines; Dennis R. Goodrich, of Webster City; Bill J. Goodrich of Kamrar; and Rebecca Rachel Eide and husband Orvie of Webster City; 17 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Marian Peterson of Goldfield; sisters, Laverne Frank of Britt and Celeste Keech of Springfield, MO. In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by her parents; her great-granddaughter; Cassandra Gatewood, one brother and one sister. Mrs. Geerlings was a member of the United Methodist Church in Goldfield.
