NELS D. JOHNSON, 81, DIES IN SOUTH DAKOTA
Nels D. Johnson, 81, of Webster, South Dakota, a brother of M. O. Johnson and Miss Ada Johnson of Hartland Township, died early Tuesday at Webster, according to word received by relatives here.
His body will be brought here by hearse for burial and funeral rites will be held tomorrow - Friday - afternoon at the North Shell Rock church, with Rev. A. J. Tolo in charge, according to plans as tentatively announced Wednesday afternoon.
Mr. Johnson was a former resident of this vicinity in the early days, leaving here for Dakota in 1881. He was a cousin of the late Michael D. Johnson, a prominent Hartland township resident.
