John A. 'Jack' Bork, age 75, of Grafton died Thursday, October 13, 2005, at the Mitchell County Regional Health Center-Hospice Unit in Osage.

Jack was born September 22, 1930, in Grafton, IA, the son of John August and Elvera (Rappath) Bork. He graduated from Grafton High School, and attended Wartburg College in Waverly, where he participated in wrestling. Jack married Marilyn O'Rourke in Rockford, IA. Marilyn died on May 18, 1968.

Jack was a co-owner of the family business, Grafton Produce. He drove school bus for many years in the Grafton and St. Ansgar School districts. Jack played baseball for the Grafton town team for many years. He loved fishing and hunting.

Funeral services were held Monday, October 17, 2005, at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Grafton, with the Rev. Wayne Ellingson and Irmgard Ellingson, Associate in Ministry officiating.

Jack is survived by one son, John W. (Val) Bork and children, Patrice, John J.H., and Brianna of Grafton; two daughters, Gwen (Tom) Seivert and children, Tim and Erin of Coon Rapids, MN and Lisa (Kevin) Hanson and children, Christopher and Anthony Duncomb of Grafton; and a brother, Donald Bork of Maitland, FL.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife, Marilyn in 1968.
