Arminda Elizabeth Buechele, 98, of Grafton, died Wednesday, April 3, 2002, at the Good Samaritan Center in St. Ansgar.

Arminda was born March 11, 1904, at Belgrade, MN, the daughter of Harry and Minnie (Lutz) Rappath. She attended schools at Belgrade, Eden Valley and Minneapolis, MN.

Arminda was united in marriage to Emil Buechele on September 14, 1923, in Minneapolis. The couple moved to Grafton in 1926. She worked in Walk's Store for more than 25 years.

Arminda was a faithful member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Grafton.

Funeral services were held on Saturday at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Grafton with the Rev. Wayne Ellingson officiating. Interment was in the Grafton Cemetery.

She is survived by her daughter, Jane Buechele of Grafton; a sister, Berneice (Bob) Maker (who made her home with the couple) of Corvallis, MT; a brother, the Rev. Harry (Evelyn) Rappath of Prescott, AZ; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Emil, in 1985; sisters, Hazel Gerstenkorn, Vera Bork and Elsie Rappath; and a brother, Bill Rappath.
