NORTHWOOD, IOWA - Dennis L. Pixley, 67, passed away Monday, March 30, 2015, at the Mission Nursing Home, Plymouth, Minnesota.

Memorial services are scheduled for Monday, April 6, 2015, at 11 a.m. at First Lutheran Church, Northwood, with the Rev. Judy Converse officiating.

Burial will be in the State Line Cemetery, Northwood. Family will greet friends after 10 a.m. at the church.

Dennis was born January 18, 1948, to John and Inez (Anderson) Pixley in Albert Lea, Minnesota. He enjoyed fishing and was a workaholic.

For 30 years he battled and finally succumbed to Parkinson's disease.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jerry Pixley; infant sister, Sandra K. Pixley; grandparents and brother-in-law, Dennis Peterson.

He is survived by his: daughter Chelsey; brothers, Galen (Karen) Pixley, Mike Pixley and Earl W. Pixley; sister, Sharon Peterson; sister-in-law, Fran Pixley; nieces and nephews, Todd Pixley, Tammy (Scott) Severson; Kim (Randy) Behrends, Marcus (Sarah) Peterson, Ryan Pixley, Jason Pixley.
