Randina “Rena” (Myli) Mellem – December 28, 1871 – March 6, 1951

MITCHELL COUNTY WOMAN DIES AT NORTHWOOD HOME

Northwood – Funeral services for Mrs. Rena Myli Mellem, 78, widow of Charles Mellem, will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the First Shell Rock Synod Church, the Rev. Juul Madson officiating. The Connor Funeral Home is in charge.

She died Tuesday morning at the R. E. Knudson home where she had lived the past year. Death was due to heart trouble.

Mrs. Mellen was born in Mitchell County in 1872, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. O. Myli.

Survivors include 4 sons, Hartwick, Harold, Carlin and Bobby, of Northwood, a sister, Mrs. Anna Mehus of North Dakota, and two brothers, Knudt Myli and Erick Myli of Northwood.
