Mrs. Laura Dunham, 76, of 156 Monroe St., died at 7:30 p.m. Monday at Woodlawn Convalescent Home of complications incident to advanced years.

She was born Laura Higgins on January 29, 1879 in Waterloo, the daughter of Freeman and Olive Higgins.

She was married to John A. Dunham in 1922 at Oklahoma City. After their marriage they moved to Decorah and later to Manly, until two years ago, when she moved to the Woodlawn Convalescent home here.

Surviving are four daughters by a former marriage: Mrs. Ruth Dietrich, 156 Monroe; Mrs. Olive Olson, 219 Lane; Mrs. Vern Erickson, 302 Anthony; Mrs Clovis Maples, Oklahoma City three sisters, Mrs. F. W. Dunham, Houston, Texas; Mrs. Mary Vanderpool, Victorville, Calif, and Mrs. Myrtle Fabrick, Pasa dena, Calif.; one brother, Alber Higgins, Kansas City, Mo.; 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her first and second husbands and by one son. The body was taken to Parrott & Wood Funeral Home and later to the Brides Funeral Home, Manly, where services are pending.
