Funeral services were held Saturday at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Grafton, for Harvey Bublitz, 78, of Grafton. He died Wednesday, November 12, 1986, at an Osage nursing home.

The Rev. James Fladland officiated and burial was in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, in Rock Township, rural Grafton.

Born January 18, 1908, in Worth County, Mr. Bublitz was the son of William and Anna (Wilde) Bublitz. He attended rural schools in Worth County.

After his father died, he and his brothers took over the operation of the family farm. On May 5, 1935, he married Irene Ingersoll.

Mr. Bublitz farmed on the family farm in rural Plymouth until retiring in 1974, and moving to Grafton.

Survivors include his wife, Irene, Grafton; a daughter, Gloria (Ralph) Stevenson, Elma; a son, Harley, Grafton; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a sister, Elsie (George) Kirchgatter, Riceville.
