Armond (Brudy) Wahl, 78, of Grafton, died Wednesday, December 8, 1993, at the North Iowa Mercy Health Center East Campus, Mason City.

Funeral services were held Saturday, December 11, 1993, at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Grafton with the Rev. Gregory Bjornstad officiating. Burial was in the Grafton Cemetery.

Armond was born February 21, 1915, in Grafton, the son of George and Mary (Koehler) Wahl. He married Ella Banken.

Armond worked for the Grafton Elevator for over 40 years and after retirement, he worked for the Dalluge Turkey farm in Grafton. His hobbies were fishing, gardening, and making lawn ornaments. He was a member of the Emmanuel Lutheran Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents and one sister, Lillian.

He is survived by his wife Ella Wahl, Grafton; five children, Roger (Margaret) Wahl, Gaston SC, Arthur (Judy) Wahl, Mason City, Wayne Wahl, West Memphis, AR, Cheryl (Mike) McConnachie, Woodland, TX, and Barbara (Gary) Harms, Rockledge, FL. Also surviving are ten grandchildren, one great-grandchild; one sister, Rose (Roy) Wilde, Osage; and one brother, Raymond Wahl, Grafton.
