Funeral services were held on Monday, March 24, 1986 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Grafton for Vivian Bork, 84, of Grafton, who died on Friday, March 21, 1986 at a Mason City hospital. Burial was in the Grafton Cemetery.

Vivian was born September 5, 1901 at Carroll county, Illinois, to Ferdinand and Elma (Hunter) Isenhart. She graduated from Chadwick, Illinois High School in 1919 and recieved a teaching degree from Upper Iowa University in Fayette.

On April 2, 1922 she married Alvin H. Bork in Mason City, Iowa. Mrs. Bork taught in the country schools in Grafton area as well as at the Grafton School for 12 years. She was later a cook in the Grafton School. She was also a rural route delivery carrier for the Des Moines Register for 25 years before retiring in 1984.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Alvin in 1957; one sister Viola Berghammer; two brothers, Russell Isenhart and Graydon Isenhart.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Arlo (Beverly) Johansen of Eldora and Mrs. Jay (Jeanie) White of Grafton; three sons, Keith Richard and Alvin H., both of Grafton; one sister, Mrs. Eulea Fleming of Chicago; two brothers, Forest Isenhart of Fairdealing, Mo., and Woodrow Isenhart of Manteno, Illinois; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
