Erma (Urbatsch) Huebner

Funeral services were held Tuesday, January 21, 1986, at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Grafton for Mrs. Erma Huebner, 84, of Grafton, who died Saturday, January 18, at an Osage nursing home. The Rev. J. Fladland officiated and burial was in the Grafton Cemetery.

Mrs. Huebner was born April 8, 1901 in Union Township, Worth County, Iowa, to Casper and Ida (Bork) Urbatsch. She was raised in the Grafton area, where she married William Huebner on Feb. 12, 1940. She worked for many years as a telephone operator in Grafton.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William, who died January 12, 1986.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. John (Delores) Thomassen of Shelby, N. Carolina; a son, Dale Huebner of Mason City; six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; and a brother, Roy Urbatsch of Manly.
