NELS HERMANSON

March 14, 1884 – November 10, 1963

KENSETT, IA – Nels Hermanson, 79, died Sunday at the Good Samaritan Home in Mason City. Funeral Services will be Wednesday at 2 PM at the Bethany Lutheran Church. Burial will be in Kensett Cemetery with Bride Funeral Home, Manly, in charge.

Born March 14, 1884, to Iver and Carrie (Nelson) Hermanson, he was married to Julia Hovind August 14, 1917. They farmed southwest of Kensett. She died in 1961. Two sisters also preceded him in death.

Surviving are three sons, Perley, Colton, CA, M.C. Hermanson, St Paul, MN; Jerome, Mankato, MN; six grandchildren, a brother, Reuben, St. Paul, MN.
