EDWARD G. JOHNSON

February 3, 1877 – August 13, 1941

KENSETT, IA – Funeral services for Edward George Johnson, 64, who died at a Mason City Hospital Wednesday afternoon, were held Saturday afternoon at 2 PM at the Elk Creek Church where he was a member, preceded by a brief service at his home.

Burial was made in the Elk Creek Cemetery. The Rev. Thor Sigmond was in charge of the services.

He is survived by his widow Hannah (Hermanson) Johnson and three sons, Maynard, Clarence and Elmer, all of the Kensett vicinity, four grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Glen Sampson of Alvarado, MN and five brothers, Will of Lisbon, ND, Martin and Ralph of Wahpeton, ND, Bert of Kensett and Merrill of Mason City.
