ELMER T. TEETER

MANLY - Mr. Elmer T. Teeter, 98, of the Manly Care Center, died Wednesday (Dec. 8, 1999) at the Manly Care Center.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at the Hogan-Bremer Colonial Chapel, 126 Third St. N.E., Mason City, with the Rev. Jack VandenHeuvel officiating. Interment will be in Elmwood-St. Joseph Cemetery, Mason City.

Visitation will be one hour before services on Friday at Hogan-Bremer Colonial Chapel.

The family suggests memorials to the Elmer T. Teeter Memorial Fund.

Elmer was born Sept. 16, 1901, in Arcadia, Ind., the son of Thomas and Bertha (Apple) Teeter. He married Mary Louise Little on Sept. 17, 1922, in Arcadia.

He worked as a Cooper-Smith then moved to Mason City where he worked at Decker's until his retirement in 1965.

Elmer was stricken with Alzheimer's approximately 15 years ago and lost his memory of his life and family.

On Dec. 8, 1999, Elmer went to his heavenly home for Christmas and where he has regained his memory of his life and family.

Elmer is survived by eight grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; four sons, Junior, Robert, Donald and Clifford; and one great-great-grandchild, Samantha Jo.
