He is buried in Floyd Cemetery, Sioux City, Woodbury County, Iowa: Block 203, Lot 2

Newspaper item:
Glancing in the door of a freight car near the plant of the American Popcorn company at Leeds yesterday, E. L. Reinsch, watchman, discovered the body of Lon Cashatt, a laborer, employed in construction work at the Mystic Milling company's new elevator. The police and Coroner Dickinson were notified. Investigation proved death due to apoplexy. Cashatt was a transient and efforts to locate friends or relatives so far have failed.

In 1910, a Leonidas Cashett owned a farm near Almira, McKenzie county, North Dakota.You might check for the sale of the property in McKenzie County land records after 1910. Also check with the Coroner in Sioux City to locate the coroner file in 1919 which may have further information.
