Looking for Barbara Lahr Zugenbuehler

LAHR, ZUGENBUEHLER

I have been trying to determine what happened to my great-great-grandmother, Barbara (Lahr) Zugenbuehler who lived in Sioux City in the 1880's but completely vanished from any records after the 1885 state census. I know she was dead by 1893 and have reason to believe she died in 1886, but cannot find any death records, obituaries, burials, etc. She was born in Germany in 1847 to Valentine and Philopena (Wirth) Lahr who moved to Illinois and then Iowa. She married Charles Zugenbuehler in 1868 and they had four children: William, Frank, Bertha, and Lillian. Since Sioux City was her last place of residence, I am hoping someone might have a clue to help solve this mystery. Thanks!
