looking for info on ancestors

ROSS, BOOKHART, SINN, KNERR

I am looking for information on James Madison Bookhart/Bookhardt, a Confederate soldier who moved to Iowa after the war. He married Rebecca Ann Ross, dau. of John Ross (not buried in Woodbury)and Rebecca Ann Ayers Daniels Ross then Casey. I have been to the cemetary at Lawton but trying to track down a story that five of the John Ross children all died of diphtheria around 1860. Any info appreciated.Knerrs married Sinns married Bookharts. John Ross born in PA, died and buried in Illinois but widow remarried a Casey and died in Woodbury County. Really need JM Bookhart death certificate if possible to find.
