Seeking info on John Weldon GUNNING, b. 1885 WI, moved to Sioux City in Early 1900's with a brief stop to marry Ethel Ruby HUDSON in Jan 1908 in Estherville, IA, have a child Ruth May in Jul 1908 and get divorced in Apr 1910. He is found in Sioux City from 1910-1930, then seems to disappear.

1918 WWI Draft Reg., Age 33, Capt. on SCFD
1920 US Census, Age 34, 5 Pct, Fireman

1928 News, Capt of No. 2 Fire Company
1930 News, Listed as retired due to on the job injury in 1929
