I am looking for information on and/or current living relatives of Alonzo Bartlett (b. NY 1843, d. Devil's Lake, ND 1931). Alonzo enlisted in the Union Army in the Civil War, NY Co. I, 35th Infantry 1861-1863. After the war was over he moved to Woodbury County, Iowa from approx. 1865-1930. He lived in Sioux CIty, Clinton, Wolf Creek, Kedron, Correctionville, and Anthon. While living in Woodbury County he had 3 wives: Ellen Bassett Bartlett (b: 16 Apr 1851, d. 01 Jan 1897, aka Ella, and as Ellen Elizabeth Nellie Bassett Bartlett), date of marriage 08 Dec 1869, whom he a child with named Howard L. Bartlett (B. 09 Mar 1881). Alonzo's 2nd wife was Betsy Livermore Turman Bartlett (b. 1872 - d. 1908), date of marriage 02 Feb 1898. Alonzo and Betsy had one child together named Glenn Bartlett (b. 1902-d. 1969). His 3rd marriage was to Myrtle Alberta Dicus Çoleman Bartlett. He had two children with Myrtle, Robert Laverne Bartlett (b. 10 July 1917) and Harold W. Bartlett (b. 02 Dec 1918).
