Catherine G. Cooper, 90, of Sioux City died Monday, Nov. 11, 1996, at the Westwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center following a lengthy illness.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the St. Boniface Catholic Church, with the Rev. Marvin J. Boes officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. today, with a scriptural wake service at 7 p.m. at the Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel.

Mrs. Cooper was born Dec. 29, 1905, in Denver, Colo., the daughter of Henry and Kathryn G. (Ronan) Meyers. She married Lawrence J. Cooper on May 4, 1935, in Las Vegas, Nev. He died May 4, 1970, in Sioux City. She had been a resident of Sioux City since 1935. The couple owned and operated Cooper Washer Parts Company from 1935 to 1973.

Mrs. Cooper was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church, the Antique Car Club and Siouxland Rental. She enjoyed traveling.

Survivors include one daughter, Helen B. Cooper of Sioux City; and one great-grandson, Ryan of Rapid City, S.D.

She was preceded in death by one grandson, James L. Cooper; four brothers; and two sisters.
