Grandpa Welte died Saturday afternoon about three o'clock after a short illness. Funeral services were held from St. Mary's church Monday morning at 9 o'clock and interment made in the cemetery on the north edge of town. He leaves three sons,
and four daughters to mourn his departure.

Relatives from out of town present were Mr. and Mrs. Lou Montgomery and children of Ute and Barney Bolster of Carroll.
