Funeral services for Mrs. William Lacey, 88, pioneer resident of Danbury, will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the Methodist Church at Danbury. The Rev Earl Kurtz will officiate and burial will be in the Danbury Cemetery under the direction of the Christensen Funeral Home at Ida Grove, Iowa.

Mrs. Lacey died Tuesday at a Battle Creek, Iowa, hospital following a long illness.

She was born Feb. 26, 1879, in Crawford County. The former Agnes Owens, she was married in Ida Grove on Jan. 8, 1907. Mr. Lacey died in November, 1960. She lived on a farm in the Danbury area until retirement when she moved to Danbury.

Survivors include three sons, Dwane and Garth, both of Danbury and Galyen of Chattsfield, Minn., one daughter, Mrs. Herman Sohn of Danbury, 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
