Funeral services were held for Miss Leona Leahy at St. Mary’s Catholic Church on Thursday morning of last week, with Rev. R. V. Sweeney officiating. Burial was in St. Patrick's cemetery with Fitzpatrick Funeral Home in charge.

Leona was born April 17, 1910 and attended St. Patrick’s school. She passed away at a nursing home in Sioux City on April 6 after a short illness.

Survivors include four sisters, Mrs. Albert Forch of Anthon, Mrs. Mary McGuire of Sioux City, Miss Ellen Leahy of Tucson, Ariz., and Mrs. John Brenner; a brother, Martin Leahy, and several nieces and nephews.
