30 March 1957Leo V. Lacey, 65, a resident here for the last six months, died Friday in the home of a son, Robert L., 2110 Rebecca Street.
Mr. Lacey was born March 30, 1891, in Danbury, Ia. He married Rose Driscoll, February 16, 1916, and she was injured fatally in March 1941, in a traffic accident near Lawton, Ia.
Mr. Lacey farmed in the Danbury community before he went to Okoboji, Ia., in 1942. He came to Sioux City about six months ago.
Survivors include two sons, Robert L., of Sioux City and James D., of Gilbert, Ariz., a daughter, Mrs. Marion Ball of Chevy Chase, Md., 12 grandchildren; a brother, William of Danbury; five sisters, Agnes Lacey of Sioux City; Katherine of Fort Dodge, Ia., Mrs. Iva Wienert and Mrs. Lucille McMurrer, both of Arlington, Va., and Mrs. Maude Skoda of Seattle, Wash.
Three children preceded him in death. The Manning-O'Toole funeral home has charge of arrangement.

31 March 1957Funeral services for Leo V. Lacey, 65, who died Friday at the home of a son, Robert 2110 Rebecca street, will be at 9 a. m. Monday at St Boniface Catholic church.
Rev. Ralph Scherrer, O. F. M., will officiate and burial will be in St. Patrick's cemetery in Danbury, Ia.
Pallbearers will be Paul O'Connell, Thomas Coyne, Duane Lacey, Herman Sohm, Arthur Parker and John Hartnett.
The rosary will be recited at 7 o'clock tonight at the Manning-O'Toole funeral home.
