Mrs. Mary Kennedy

The funeral of Mrs. Mary Kennedy, 73 years old, a resident of Woodbury County for nearly fifty years, who died January 18 at Danbury, Ia., was held Monday from St. Mary's church at Danbury. She was a pioneer resident of Iowa, having moved to Dubuque County when a child.

Mrs. Kennedy was born December 15, 1844, at Fort Covington, N. Y. With her parents she came to Iowa when but a few years old. After moving: to Woodbury County she married Patrick Kennedy at Sioux City in 1881. They moved to Danbury, where she spent the remainder of her life.

Mrs. Kennedy is survived by four daughters, Mrs. P. C. Keitges, Mrs. M. A. Le Due, Mrs. Lulu Driscoll, all of Danbury and Mrs. Lester Hudgel, of Anthon, Ia., three brothers, two sisters and eleven grandchildren..
