22 June 1956Mrs. Ellen E. Keitges, 84, died Thursday at her home in Danbury after a long illness.
Mrs. Keitges was born August 20, 1871, in Sioux City. She moved to Danbury in 1880 and had lived there for the last 76 years. She was married to Pierre Keitges September 5, 1894, at Danbury.
She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic church at Danbury, the American Legion Auxiliary and the Rosary society of St Mary's church.
Survivors include two daughters, Miss Dorothy Keitges of Danbury and Mrs. Donald Dugan of Cherokee, five sons, Waldo of Lincoln, Nebr., P. Wayne and Gilbert, both of Danbury; Cyril of Merced, Cal., and Claire of Holstein; 18 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Byers-Walter funeral, home has charge of arrangements.

23 June 1956Funeral services for Mrs. Ellen E. Keitges, 84, who died Thursday at her home in Danbury after a long illness will be at 8:30 a. m. today at St. Mary Catholic church in Danbury. Rev. Richard V. Sweeney will officiate and burial will be in St. Mary's cemetery under the direction of Byers-Walter funeral home.
