4 December 1993DANBURY, Iowa -- Dorothy G. Koziol, of Los Angeles, formerly of Danbury, died Friday, Dec. 3, 1993, after a long illness.
Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Danbury United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Sheryl Ashley officiating. Burial will be at the Liston Township Cemetery, Danbury. The Walter-Armstrong Funeral Home of Danbury/Mapleton is handling arrangements.
She was born in Danbury, daughter of Joseph and Alice (Hoyt) Granter. She was raised in Danbury. She was active in support of many charities, such as the Assistant League of Southern California and the National Charity League. She loved music and art.
Survivors include her husband, Dr. Edward S. Koziol; two daughters, Deanne K. Milan of San Francisco and Melinda Leigh Koziol of Los Angeles; a son and his wife, Geoffrey G. and Leslie Koziol of Orinda, Calif., a brother, Hoyt Granter of Mitchell, S.D.; a sister, Kathleen Rubner of Chicago; two grandchildren, Granter Koziol and Charlotte Milan.
