DANBURY, Iowa-- Clifford "Nook" Kinney, 77, of Danbury, died Jan. 15 in a hospital at Sioux City of long illness.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Jan. 19 in the United Methodist Church of Danbury. The Rev. Walter Enstrom will officiate. Burial will be in Danbury Cemetery, with the Walter Funeral Home in charge.

Mr. Kinney was born Aug. 3, 1898 in Danbury and lived in the community all his life. He operated a dray business from 1939 to 1946. He drove a school bus from 1946 to 1959. For 20 years he owned and operated a trenching business. He retired in 1965.

He married Minnie Moltmann Nov. 17, 1931 at Elk Point, S.D. He was a member of United Methodist Church.

Survivors include the widow; a daughter, Mrs. Jon (Laura) Scott of Danbury and one son, William of Danbury; five grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Nina Reicks of Danbury.
