22 May 1978OTO, Iowa-- Funeral services for David Clark Kennedy, 38, killed in a car accident Saturday near Correctionville, will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Walter Funeral Home in Mapleton. The Rev. Homer Perry will officiate and burial will be in the Danbury Cemetery.
Mr. Kennedy was born Feb. 28, 1940, in Oto and lived here most of his life. He moved to Bellevue, Neb., when he married Roselind Sasges on Oct. 24, 1971.
Mr. Kennedy, a carpenter, recently formed Escon Co. and was president of the foam insulation firm. Before that he worked for Haubrich Construction Co., Jacobsen Brothers Construction of Mapleton and Scott Green, a private contractor.
Survivors include his widow; two daughters, Mrs. Ronald (Lori) Peterson of South Sioux City and Jody of Bellevue; two sons, David Jr. and Mark, both of Bellevue; his mother, Mrs. Thelma Hobbs of South Sioux City; two brothers, Harmon of Waynesville, Mo. and Noel of Omaha, and a sister, Mrs. Henry (June) Schafer of Atlantic.
