Mrs. Ida M. Kemp, 84, a Danbury resident for 34 years, died Sunday at her home after a long illness.

Mr. Kemp was born November 25, 1878, on a farm near Irwin, Ia. and moved to Manning, Ia., as a young girl. She was graduated from the Manning high school and was married to Frank W. Kemp there on June 10, 1903. In 1910 they moved to Sioux City, then lived at Oto for 10 years and spent the last 34 years at Danbury.

She was a member of the Danbury Methodist church and the Order of Eastern Star.

Funeral services will be at 1 p. m. Tuesday at the Danbury Methodist church. Rev. Earl Kurt will officiate. Burial will be in the Danbury cemetery.

Survivors include the widower; a daughter, Mrs. Leo Schrank, and a son, James F., both of Danbury; five grandchildren and six great-grandsons.

The body was taken to the Walter funeral home of Mapleton, la.
