Jacob Huffman, 23, died February 6, 2003, near Anthon, Iowa.

Funeral Mass was held Monday, February 10, 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Anthon with Rev. Wm. Schreiber officiating. Interment was in Mt. St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Anthon, under direction of Armstrong Funeral Service.

Jake was born August 24, 1979, in Kenosha, Wisconsin. He moved to the Anthon area at age four where he attended Woodbury Central School. Later he went to Anthon-Oto and then River Valley High School where he graduated in 1998. He has been employed at Dixon Construction in Correctionville since his graduation. He married Niki Rensink in August 2001.

He loved to fish, hunt, play pool and golf, and was an Iowa State fan and loved to be with his many friends.

Survivors include his wife, Niki, his parents, Stan and Kerry (Cavanaugh) Huffman of Correctionville, a sister, Mrs. Greg (Kate) Schrage of Lenexa, Kansas, a brother Steve at home, grandparents, Bob and Florine Huffman of Anthon, and Ellen Cavanaugh of Sioux City, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded by his grandfather, Dr. Len Cavanaugh and his uncle, Dan Cavanaugh.
