Mrs. Anton Hoelker, 96, Correctionville, formerly of Anthon, died Sunday at a Correctionville nursing home after a long illness.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Anthon. The Rev. J. G. Skahill will officate and burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.

The Rosary will be recited at 8 o'clock tonight at the Walter Funeral Home in Anthon.

Before going to the nursing home three years ago Mrs. Hoelker resided for five years with a daughter at Bronson.

The former Catherine Eich was born Oct. 18, 1874 at Halbur, Iowa. She resided there until she was married Feb. 12, 1895 to Anton Hoelker in Roselle township near Halbur. They farmed for 42 years in the Anthon community before moving to Anthon in 1939.

She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Survivors include two sons, Joseph of Lawton, and Alvin of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; two daughters, Mrs. Thorvald Jensen of Bronson, and Mrs. Elizabeth Laehle of Sioux City; a brother, Joseph Eich of Halbur: a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Stevens of Templeton, Iowa, 24 grandchildren, 69 great-grandchildren, and one great- great-grandson.
