Mrs. Bessie Hildrith, 83, longtime Anthon resident, died Thursday in a hospital at Azusa, Calif.

The former Bessie McKinstry, Mrs. Hildrith was born Sept. 10, 1881, at Neola, Iowa. She was married to Merritt Bar Hildrith Aug. 14, 1901, at Ute Iowa. He died in 1945. Mrs. Hildrith moved to California six years ago.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Arlie McGraw of Anthon and Mrs. Elizabeth Hoekler of Azusa, seven grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be at Anthon with arrangements to be announced.

Funeral services for Mrs. Bessie Hildreth, 83, long-time Anthon resident who died Thursday at an Azusa, Calif., hospital, will be at 11:30 a. m. Monday in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Anthon. Rev. A. M. Conlon will officiate. The Rosary will be recited at 10 a. m. Monday at the Walter Funeral Home.
