Anthon, Ia.-- Special: Mrs. Florence Heuer, 52, widow of a former publisher of the Anthon Herald, died early Saturday at her home here after an illness of two and a half months.

Mrs. Heuer was born April 29, 1900 at Winona Minn. She had lived here for the last 22 years. Her husband published the newspaper from 1931 to 1945. He died in 1951.

She was a member of the Anthon Altar Society and the Catholic Daughters of America.

Survivors are a sister, Mrs. Cecelia Slomin of Los Angeles, and four brothers, Joseph of Los Angeles, Al of Anthon, and John and Frank, both of Milwaukee.

Funeral services will be at 9:30 a. m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic church here. Burial will be in Mount St. Joseph cemetery with the Hudgel funeral home in charge.
