Adam "Uncle" Hehn, 82, Oto, died Thursday at a Sioux City nursing home after a long illness.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Catholic Church at Oto. The Rev. Thomas Munn will officiate. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery at Anthon, under direction of the Walter Funeral Home of Mapleton, Iowa. The Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Mr. Hehn was born Dec. 24, 1886, in Germany. He came to the United States in 1906 and since then had lived in the Mapleton and Oto area. He was a farm laborer.

Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Nick Gotto Sr. of Oto.
