Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, February 12, 1976, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Anthon for Vivian Marcel Franks of Tucson, Arizona. Mr. Franks passed away February 7 at his home in Tucson.

He was a member of the Catholic Church. Rev. Robert Thiele will officiate and burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Anthon, under direction of Walter Funeral Home.

Mr. Franks, son of Theodore and Fannie Hilton Franks, was born September 9, 1906, near Anthon. He lived and helped farm here until his marriage to Margaret Wilson, in Anthon on June 18, 1934. He was in the trucking business until going into car sales. He worked for Petersen Chevrolet at Battle Creek and owned and operated a Dodge agency in Battle Creek. He retired because of ill health.

He moved to Storm Lake in 1961 and moved to Tucson in 1963.

Survivors include his wife, Margaret Christine of Tucson; two brothers, Theodore of New Port, West Virginia; Maurice of Sioux City; five sisters, Mrs. Rose Heald and Elizabeth Tate, both of Sioux City; Alice Wirz of Cincinnati, Ohio; Isabelle Wilkins of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Beatrice Arnold.

He was preceded by his parents.
