Former District Judge's Wife Anthon Leader

Mrs. Edith Vivienne Cover Forsling, 60, attorney and, wife of former District Judge Linus B. Forsling, died Monday morning at her home in Anthon after a long illness.

Mrs. Edith Forsling Mrs. Forsling was active for many years in the practice of law, Anthon community activities and Iowa republican party work.

She was born October 4,1 1899, at Corpus Christi, Tex., and lived at Milwaukee before coming to Sioux City. She was married here to Mr. Forsling, January 17, 1937. They resided here before moving to Anthon 15 years ago.

She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic church at Anthon, the Iowa Bar association, the Anthon Woman's club, the Anthon Commercial club and was a former Red Cross chairman at Anthon. She also formerly held offices in the Iowa Council of Republican Women.

Survivors are the widower; a daughter, Eloise Wingett of Sioux City; a son, Edgar F., a student at Wayne State (Neb.) Teachers college, and a granddaughter.

Funeral services will be at 10 a. m. today at St. Joseph Catholic church in Anthon. Rev. Clement Flannery will officiate and burial will be in the parish cemetery with the Walter funeral home of Anthon in charge.

Pallbearers will be Dr. Leonard Cavanaugh, Cyril Shulte, B. J. Thayer, jr., Merle Jones, Donald Diamond and Ralph Wilson.
