Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Louise Flynn, 76, who died Friday at her home near Anthon, were held at 9 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Anthon with Rev. A. Conlon celebrating a requiem mass. Burial was in Mount St. Joseph's Cemetery under direction of Hudgel Funeral Home.

Mrs. Flynn was born June 19, 1873, at West Winchester, Ontario, Canada, one of eight children of Felix and Eliza Farmer. At the age of 18 she came to Iowa and made her home with her sister, Mrs. Tom Coyne, until she was married to John Flynn. After the marriage Mr. and Mrs. Flynn made their home on a farm near Dunlap, Iowa, six years and then moved to the farm one mile south of Anthon where they built their home in 1903.

Mrs. Flynn had been bedfast 15 months.

Surviving are two sons, Walter and John, who live on the home farm; a sister, Mrs. Margaret Norton of Chrysler, Ontario, Canada, and a brother, John Farmer of Saskatchewan, Canada.

Her husband died in September 1913.
