F. H. ("MAC") M’FARLAND

Frank H. ("Mac") McFarland, 76, who resided with his daughter, Mrs. Ralph Clark at Lawton, la., died late Saturday night at a hospital here.

Mr. McFarland was born September 10, 1873, at Independence, Ia. At the age of two years, he' accompanied his parents to Climbing Hill, la., where they homesteaded.

He married Mary L. Clark September 6, 1894, in Sioux City and since then had made his home here. He was a nightwatchman at the stockyards here until retiring seven years ago.

Survivors in addition to the daughter are a son, J. A. Clark of St. Cloud, Minn.: a brother Will, in South Dakota, six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. The body was taken to the W. Harry Christy funeral home in Morningside.
