29 December 1982Mrs. Mary A. Eickholt, 61, Correctionville was found dead at her home Monday morning, December 20, 1982.
Services were at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, December 23 in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Anthon with Rev. J.G. Skahill officiating. Burial was in Mount St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery at Anthon.
The former Mary Schreiner was born April 4, 1921, to John P. and Katherine (Ruba) Schreiner, at Remsen. She married Ted Eickholt November 25, 1958, at Kingsley. She moved to the Anthon-Correctionville area in 1970. Mr. Eickholt died February 8, 1980, in Sioux City.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Survivors include a stepson, Leo Eickholt of Lawton, two stepdaughters, Mrs. Gerald (Pauline) Dugan of Kingsley and Mrs. Ronald (Agnes) Uhl of Mapleton, a sister, Mrs. Ernest (Elizabeth) Kotalik of South Sioux City, three brothers, Roland Schreiner of Ireton, John Schreiner of Remsen and Martin Schreiner of Maurice, 14 step grandchildren and three step great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
