Mrs. John (Fae) Eichhorn, 64, owner and operator of the Shamrock Cafe in Anthon and an active worker in county and statewide Democratic party activities, died Sunday at a Sioux City hospital after a brief illness.

Funeral services were held Wednesday morning, February 8, 1967, at St. Joseph's Catholic church in Anthon. Burial was in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Anthon, under direction of Walter Funeral Home.

The former Fae V. Myers was born February 14, 1902, near Anthon and spent most of her adult life in the Anthon and Oto communities. She married Howard Jones December 19, 1919, at Anthon. He preceded her in death. She married John Eichhorn June 22, 1932, at Oakland, Nebraska. She served as a Woodbury County Democratic committee woman several years and took part in Democratic activities on the state level.

Survivors include the widower; a daughter, Mrs. Ralph Wilson of Anthon; three brothers, Acy Myers of Springfield, Oregon; Tracy Myers of Sioux City and Murl Myers of Worthington, Minnesota; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
