William Joseph Dugan, 73, of Sioux City died Wednesday, November 6, 1974, at a Correctionville nursing home.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Anthon with Rev. J.G. Skahill officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery under direction of Walter Funeral Home.

Mr. Dugan, son of William Henry and Mary Ann (Langan) Dugan, was born January 29, 1901, in Omaha where he attended school. He married Olive Sawin of Anthon on December 27, 1924, in Omaha. He lived in Hutchinson, Nebraska, before moving to Bismarck, North Dakota, in 1951, where he owned and operated the Missouri Valley Industrial Supply Company. His wife died February 18, 1972. He moved to Sioux City two years ago and had been a resident of Colonial Manor Nursing Home in Correctionville for two months.

Survivors include three sisters, Mr. Eileen Tilley, Miss Edna Dugan and Miss Blanche Dugan, all of Omaha, and a brother, Don P. Dugan of Sioux City.

He was preceded by his parents and his wife.
