2 May 1928John James Dixon was born in Harrison Co., Iowa, January 4, 1881, and died April 24, 1928, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Sioux City, Iowa.
In February 1906 he was united in marriage to Vera E. Clark of Neola, Iowa. He farmed near Neola until 1919 when he moved to Anthon. Mr. Dixon, an upright man of fine principles, was respected and well liked by everyone who knew him.
He is survived by his wife and eleven children, who are all at home, except Emma, who is in training at St. Joseph's Hospital.
He is also survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Dixon of Neola, four brothers and three sisters.
