IDA GROVE, Iowa - Mrs. George DeVault, 54, of Ida Grove, died May 24 in a nursing home here.

Services will be at 10 a.m. May 28 in Sacred Heart Catholic Church. The Rev. H. E. Dailey will officiate. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery at Anthon under direction of the Christensen Funeral Home of Ida Grove. The Rosary will be at 8:30 p.m. May 27 at the funeral home.

Mrs. DeVault, the former Loretta Carr, was born Aug. 16, 1922, at Anthon. She was married June 7, 1948, at Anthon. They had lived at Ida Grove the last 10 years.

Survivors include the widower; a son, George Michael of Houston, Tex.; a daughter, Mrs. Everett (Kathryn Ann) Cook of -Washta, three grandchildren; her father, John Carr of Correctionville; two brothers, Cyril Carr of Sioux City and Leonard Carr of Pompano Beach, Fla., and four sisters, Mrs. Howard (Cleo) Hana and Mrs. Maurice (Rita) Coyne, both of Sioux City; Mrs. Karl (Vera) Hoppe of Correctionville, and Mrs. Gordon (Corrine) Johnston of Storm Lake.
