1901 - 1964

C. Wayne Camarigg, 62, lifelong resident of the Correctionville area, died Sunday at a Sioux City nursing home after a long illness.

Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at St. Joseph’s Catholic church at Anthon. Rev. A. M. Conlon officiated. Burial was in Mt. St. Joseph cemetery at Anthon, under direction of the Walter funeral home.

Pallbearers were Tom Cunningham, Giles Springer, Raymond Roark, Lester Groepper, Kenneth Bruene and Frank Fey.

Mr. Camarigg was born October 20, 1901, at Correctionville, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter O. Camarigg. He was married to Alice Franzen on February 2, 1929 at Anthon. They established their home on a farm four miles southeast of Correctionville.

He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic church at Anthon.

Survivors include the widow; two sons, Arlos of Neptune, New Jersey, and David of San Bernadino, Calif.; four sisters, Miss Elsa Camarigg of Correctionville, Mrs. Roland Harvey of Bellevue, Wash., Mrs. Alex Thompson of Anaheim, Calif., and Mrs. Louis Grell of Cushing; and three brothers, Donald and Glen of Correctionville, and Chris of Sheldon, Ia.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and two brothers.
