Mrs. Henry Bernard was taken to Sioux City Saturday for an operation but was unable to rally from the effects. She died Sunday morning. The remains were brought here Monday and taken to the Bernard home near Rock Branch for interment in the Catholic Cemetery at Anthon. The funeral Tuesday was largely attended.
