WASHTA— Paul Beeson, 74, a Washta resident died suddenly in Cherokee Tuesday noon. Born May 22, 1891, at Danbury, la., he was married Oct. 30,1912 at Oto to Mable Coon.

He had spent the past 35 years at Washta as Standard Oil Agent. He is last survivor of a family of seven boys and one girl.

He is survived by the widow, Mabel, Washta; a daughter, Mrs. Beulah Cook of Loup City, Neb.; a son, Darrell Beeson, Washta; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 9 a. m. from St. John's Catholic Church at Quimby Rt. Rev. Msgr. Louis J. Lynch will be celebrant of requiem high mass. Burial is to be in St. Joseph's Cemetery at Anthon.

Rosary will be recited Wednesday at 8 p.m. at Greenwood Funeral Home in Cherokee.
